Hi! Thanks for checking out my profile. I've been browsing this site for awhile now and it seems all of you have a lot of fun so I thought I'd finally join in.

I am 52 years old and looking forward to retiring in a couple of years. Can't wait to have more free time to enjoy life, do some traveling and just have fun. I am looking to find Mr. Right to eventually share my life with but for now, I am just looking for a best friend, companion and some good conversation.

I am a really down to earth person, value honesty and trust. I am born and raised in Iowa so I have all of those midwest values. I like to go to movies, fairs, art festivals, dance, camp, swim (well I get in the water and mess around, don't know that I'd call it swimming). I like impromptu picnics, taking walks in the rain, anything that involves spending time at the lake, and spending time with friends and family. I like to go out and do things but can be just as happy staying at home cuddling on the couch with that someone special. I am the romantic type, very affectionate and like to kiss, hold hands and hug a lot and who knows where that may lead to.

I'm looking for someone who is interested in more than a one night stand. Must be drug free and a non-smoker. I want someone to love me as I am and not expect me to change into something I'm not. He must he honest and sincere and hopefully enjoy doing some of the same things that I do. I'm probably more old fashioned than I will admit, I like a man who knows how to treat a woman like a woman, open doors, takes the lead role because it makes me feel cared for. I'm not into head games and would expect the same.
