Hiya..My name is April and I am actually a transplant from California, and have lived in Minnesota for 10 years so far. I am 22 years old and have a seven month old daughter, Allison, from my only marriage which lasted 3 years.

Life has thrown me alot, mayhaps too many, curve balls for me to pretend that I am not a bit jaded with life. But, I put up my pic anyways. I never know quite what to say on these things...I am honest to a fault though and know that I spend too much time online. *lol* I love to read (anything from classics like Pride and Prejudice to modern day romance books), bake ( I'm tellin' ya, if you rely on me to cook your meals, you're crazy! *g* I can bake up a storm, but not much on cooking), and sewing (self explanatory, eh?). I listen to all kinds of music; from Opera ( Cecilia Bartoli, Kathleen Battle, Marilyn Horne) to Broadway musicales to the bands out today ( ie. Sugar Ray, Cake, Dave Matthews Band).

I love to sketch..am a real artsy kinda person with my colored pencils and acrylic paints..or rather, used to be. Now that I have a child, my world revolves around her it seems :o) I operate my own daycare in-house so I do set my own hours...weekends off, of course. :o) I have a big heart, and a ridiculously trusting nature. I may as well have the word "Doormat" stamped on my forehead. :oP Overall, I am a laid back person just looking for a friend, or casual dating..just to help the transition into my new life as a single mom first, and as a single woman secondly.
