Breakfast in the Park with BBW’s
August 23rd , 2008
IABW is resurrecting an extremely successful picnic from the
past and you won’t want to miss it!
It’s time for “Breakfast in the park with BBW’s!” Come out
to the park for an early morning romp in the dew with some
delightful folks! Get your social time in while it’s nice
and cool out! This 2nd picnic of the year will
be laidback and fun!
IABW will Provide Orange juice (and Champagne for Mimosa’
until it’s gone!),Eggs for “Ziploc Omelet’s” and we will
fire up the grill to grill up some 3-4 lbs of breakfast
meat. There will also be the plates and utensils there like
normal.
There will be an electric Griddle if you want to bring your
pancake flipper and cook us up some Flapjacks or French
toast! But any normal breakfast foods are welcome! Donuts,
Coffeecake, Fruit, egg bake, Juices, Bloody Mary’s….You get
the idea!
You can also consider bringing fixin’s for the Omelet bar:
Cheese, Hash Browns, Ham, Mushrooms, Onions,Peppers…or any
other favorite Omelet ingredient!

what…We want to make sure 12 people don’t bring
Cheese…although its not a bad idea…cheese is good. I got
NOTHING against cheese...but what if someone is lactose
intolerant and all we have is CHEESE??? )
Who:
This event is open to the Public. So you will meet plenty of
friends, old new and unmet yet. Children and Old Folks are
welcome! The park is Handicapped Accessible.
When:
August 23rd Starting at 10:00 AM (ending sometime
prior to Dusk)
Where:
Anoka County - Riverfront Regional Park. Shelter #1 (The
one on the North end of the park)

From
Minneapolis/St. Paul
Take I-35W north to I-694 west. Follow 694 west to the East
River Road exit and turn left (go south). Follow East River
Road two miles to the Riverfront Park entrance on the right
side of the road.
From Blaine,
Ham Lake, Lino Lakes
Take Highway 65 south to I-694 west. Follow 694 west to the
East River Road exit and turn left (go south). Follow East
River Road two miles to the Riverfront Park entrance on the
right side of the road.
From Anoka,
Ramsey, Coon Rapids
Take Coon Rapids Boulevard south to East River Road south.
Follow East River Road six miles to the Riverfront Park
entrance on the right side of the road.
Cost:
$5 to cover the costs of the Pavilion and supplies, and a
dish to pass or contributed item to the Omelet bar.
